usb network card //

Здравствуйте!

у нас на предприятии гроза вышибла ядро сети и множество сетевых карт, возникла проблема с тонкими клиентами HP

сдохли сетевые карты встроенные в них, таких много

тонкие клиенты старые и сервис HP отказал в ремонте, в связи с тем, что модель снята с поддержки

перепрошил флешку встроенную, залил туда syslinux и thinstation-2.2-20090704

подключил USB сетевую карту  D-link DUB-E100, thinstation ее не видит

можно ли добавить поддержку такой сетевой карты?

PnpID это карты: USB\VID_2001&PID_3C05\000001

Ubuntu Linux 9.04 видит без проблем эту карту видит:

2Warlock хоть какие модели тонких клиентов HP были? а то совсем непонятно, зачем возня с usb сетевками.

они не были,

они не были, они есть :) и благодаря Николаю даже работают

HP t5000

в них заменить можно только батарейку и динамик, и флеш (тока флеш такую нигде не встречал, типа IDE разъема, только не IDE), даже память наплате впаяна

2Warlock жуть, не нашел ни одного изображения внутренностей. смотреть на плату у разъема rj-45 пробовали? в относительно дорогих устройствах (свитчи, точки доступа) видел защитные элементы, может они выполнили свою функцию? поменять и забыть про внешние сетевки.

2nvi уж простите наглеца, в первых пяти сообщениях не нашел указания на модель тонкого клиента.
